Dilip emailed this beat October 23, 2020. Dilip is otherworldly. He’s actually him and he’s kind, always shows love and he’s really about the music. The stuff some have heard is only a fraction of what he’s cooking up, y’all gotta tap in (Otxhello too!). Throughout the course of 2021, I called Kinard, Joel, Daniel, and Slim to go in on this track and that they did. I’ve made a lot of songs but none have been shrouded in more self-doubt, and none have been affirmed by more people. Before Wenuneed, before Cuff, before Prettybag there was ‘Everything’. This one is for releasing things for me again, not for anyone else. This one is for cutting out hesitating and seeking validation/confirmation in music outside of myself and the people I make the art with. If you sang the song, if you randomly dm’d asking about it, if you’re like Nate and still sing the version from 2020, if you didn’t like the song in the clubhouse beat battles and said no, Thank you, you have helped free me

Pour It Up is the celebration, i think i wrote it sometime around the summer, I was motivated to write loops and hooks without conventional structures, and the words just came to. Love to Amarah from across the pond, I ran across his YouTube page in 2022 and he’s showed love every time. He is one of a kind, his production is hard to put into words, his layering, his drum sounds, it’s unbelievable. There’s a friend on the remix 👀 it’s time!!

This year has been nothing short of unbelievable but today I feel free.
